You probably would have noticed that Roar is sporting a few visual changes. As we tweak our new look to perfection, making a few fixes and improvements here and there over the next few weeks, we’re looking at making our site cleaner, edgier and easier to use.
But it’s not just about the facelift – we’ve upped our game with more specific categories and better content. Perhaps it’s an OCD epidemic at the Roar office, but it’s all about keeping it well organised but also simple and interactive. Our content, of course, still retains its trademark edge but we’re expanding our horizons. With greater emphasis on health and lifestyle, we’re also working on pushing out Sri Lankan related tech content. We may not be typical computer science geeks, but we do believe we know our way around the world of gadgets and apps.
This time around, we’ve decided to take it a step forward and provide our readers with something more visual. With work underway behind our video cams, we’re hoping to bring in some quality video content into our mix, starting with the Tesla’s.
We’re also knee-deep in conspiracy with the Colombo Design Market – we don’t just write about the arts, you know. Roar is having its very own installation: an interesting juxtaposition of what is often considered quaint reworked into something more modern, fun, not to mention useful. As much as we’d love to let the lion out of the bag, we’ll keep you guessing. So drop by the Colombo Design Market on the 19th of this month and be a part of art in the making.
We’d love to hear from you, so tell us know what you think – about our design, content, any suggestions or remarks you have, anything you’d like to read…you know the works. Say [email protected] or leave a comment below.
